Maxima terms of service

Last updated: 13 September 2026

These terms govern use of the Maxima Shopify app. By installing Maxima you agree to them. Maxima is provided by the Partner account listed on the App Store listing.

The service

Maxima recommends and can automatically run pricing experiments on products in your Shopify store, inside the price rails and cadence you set. You remain responsible for your catalog, costs, taxes, and the prices customers see.

No promised outcomes

Maxima does not guarantee profit, revenue, conversion, or any other merchant result. Opportunity and dashboard figures are estimates or measured historical increments, not a promise of future performance.

Your responsibilities

You must have authority to change prices on the store, set rails you can accept, and pause or uninstall the app if you want Maxima to stop. You are responsible for complying with consumer, pricing, and advertising laws in the markets you sell to.

Billing

Paid plans are charged through Shopify billing. Trials, renewals, and cancellations follow Shopify's charge flow and the plan shown in the app. Uninstalling stops new charges according to Shopify's billing rules.

Shopify

Maxima is a third-party app. Shopify is not responsible for Maxima. Use of Shopify is governed by Shopify's terms.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Maxima is provided as-is, and we are not liable for lost profits, lost sales, or price changes you authorized through the app. Our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid for Maxima in the 90 days before the claim.
